Reverend Matthew Prior appointed as Priest-in-Charge of St Matthew's

Our long interregnum will soon be over! It has recently been announced that Matthew Prior has been appointed as the Priest-in-Charge of St Matthew, Borstal. Matt will be working 3 days a week in the parish and 3 days a week as Cluster Missioner. The Cluster Missioner part of the job is a new idea and it will involve working with St Matthew's, Rochester Parish and St Justus.

Matt is married to Esther (who is also a priest) and they have a son called Micah. They are currently living and working in Deptford, London.

We are really looking forward to welcoming them to Borstal and to working with them over the next few years.

Although we don't have an official date for Matt's licensing, it is likely to be mid-July.
