Church bell repaired

Our church bell has finally been repaired after nearly seven years of silence. The old clapper had completely disintegrated, so some of the church members went on a sponsored diet to raise the money needed to have a new one made. Once the new clapper was ready, we were faced with the problem of how to access the bell. The local fire service came to our rescue and provided the necessary equipment to lift Alan Driver some 17 metres above the ground to fit the new clapper.
